And of course I found something wrong with it last night after I drove it home. Salesman says the dealership will make it right. I am totally perplexed by this. It had less than 20 miles on it before I test-drove it.

Tex, I’m not sure that’s it. Look at the bolstering across the entire top of the back of the seat. It’s heavily dented on the left, and it’s uneven across the rest of it - and there’s scuff marks down low, on the left side. The bilateral nature of the tears is odd too, and there’s hardware poking out of the hole on the left.

Did this come with the dual top group? It looks like the box from soft top may have tore up the seat when it was folded down
Adam, it did not. Hard top only.

They didn't see the damage on delivery prep when it first arrived? Don't know if I would trust a dealer that allows that glaring of a problem through their inspection process. There has to be a story how it happened they aren't telling you.

Mike, I’m thinking the same thing. They said they would make it good. I texted them the pics and am awaiting a call back.

By the way, as usual, the tires are over-inflated to 41 PSI. Still drives great though, but I will drop the air down today.

My Rubicon hardtop had a very similar mark on the right side like yours. However it wasn't that deep. I actually rubbed it with a brush and it blended in. Like something had been leaned up against it.

Mine came in with a scratch on the hard top and fender flare from transport. Sales manager saw it right away and took top and fender flare off another one on his lot and put them on so I wouldn't have to wait for parts to come in. That's a good dealer.

SHEESH I'm surprised you're not floating away at that PSI.

Sorry you ran across an issue, that can be frustrating when you're all excited about a new toy, hope it's a quick resolution.

Mine were over-inflated to 41 when I picked up my Sahara too. I wonder if that's in their 'playbook'?

The mark on the right side did rub out. I took it to Firkins today. They have ordered a new driver side rear seat. They gave me ZERO issues. The sales side of the dealership has to pay for the replacement, as it is not a warranty issue. So far, customer service has been outstanding.

Brian, she didn’t cave. She didn’t want one that expensive, but I got a great deal, and I convinced my wife that she DESERVES it.
