Ok this post is aimed directly at Jeep and FCA I think many if not all of them memebers of this forum will suspport it.

Don't raise the Rubiconse prices !!
Don't rasie the Sahara Prices
Don't raise the sport prices
Don't charge a premium for a v6 that is stnadard on a JKU
Don't add 3500 for an automatic.
Don't make the turbo 4 the base engine

JUST SAY NO

You have agreat product, but if a reasonably equiped rubcion goes over 50K You won't hit your potential sales target.

and I think the same think applies to the other levels Sahara and sport.

Remember we are a pretty indepent group and many others are already thinking of other possible alternatives for instance a 4 dr Chevy colorado ZR2 with front and rear lockers heated seats which comes standard with leather and auto that you can see on many delears lots for 41K

You will sell more that you can build if you keep the prices in check.

Just my opinion

Sorry buddy, not going to happen. You know why? FCA will sell every one they make with not much issue. Prices will go up, besides FCA bean counters won't be on this forum.

The JL is continuing the tradition the JK started in making the Wrangler a family hauler instead of a back to basics off-roader. The Unlimited is outselling the 2 door by a huge margin. It's just a tougher looking Grand Cherokee alternative and the prices are starting to reflect that.

As long as the demand is there, they will keep charging as much as they want.
Even if Ford's Bronco is a direct competitor they will still fail due to it's 2 doors.

If they make the Bronco retro-cool and make it a modern version of the 66-70s version it may be a success. The Ranger Raptor and ZR2 may be more competition for the pricey JT.

Someone in management’s heart strings are pulled by a forum post. Wanderer’s son Tiny Tim won’t get any food to eat or Christmas presents unless they keep 2017 prices!

The prices will go up. That is natural, they go up every year. However, what it looks like the increases will be in not natural. If you want a JL with the 3.6 auto (not including any other options) you are looking at $4000-5000 increase over the JK based on what we have seen.

Yes, and unfortunately this thread will not make a difference on what they have already decided to do.
