Whats the deal with the more than doubling in price of the functional beadlock rings from mopar? In 2022/2023 the rings were $140 and $188 respectively. They are now $363.44.

They were never in stock or available anywhere. Had them paid for and back ordered for nearly a year. Gave up and canceled. If they are only going to produce limited accounts every year they as well price them through the roof. Those that don't know any better or believe factory parts are better than aftermarket will still pay it. Anybody who sees that price and has ever looked at aftermarket beadlocks will just dump the factory ones and but completed beadlocks for that price.

I'm keeping the factory wheels, but getting the OMF beadlock rings to go on them. There are some great aftermarket wheels out there, but I already have the factory ones. I don't think an aftermarket beadlock is going to perform that much better than the factory ones once I add the OMF beadlocks. However, for the life of me, I cant bring myself to pay the current asking price of the mopar beadlock rings.

That was my point. Their ring price is so high it would be cheaper to buy full beadlock wheels and sell the stock ones.

In the price comparison I did in my head, I never added in the recoup of selling the stock wheels. If I didn't already have the xtreme recon beadlocks, I'd love to get the teraflex beadlocks. Maybe I'll throw up a facebook marketplace add to see if there are any bites.
