I'm waiting to take delivery on my 2021 JLUR, and while I've got nothing but time I'm trying to plan this build the best that I can. I want to make sure I'm not forgetting anything on my build sheet as I plan on taking the whole thing apart once, and running electrical everywhere in the Jeep. The hope is that I only have to do this once, and as I order parts throughout the build I can just catch the circuit that is already in location, on the proper switch and relay and make the whole process much more seamless. I feel like I had my last Jeep apart a dozen times. Every time I got a new radio, or light, I was in the driveway pulling seats and taking panels off for what would be an otherwise simple install.

The plan is to run #4 AWG to a power distribution box and relays under the rear cargo deck. (I know this will make it a pain in the dick to diagnose any troubles, but I plan on getting it right and hope to not have any troubles. I'm an electrician by trade and I'm confident in my work.) I want to have (2) relay's back there, one that ties in with interior lighting, and one that ties in with the reverse lights. I will use these to automatically control devices that I want to come on and go off with each. (i.e. Tailgate table light tied in with interior lighting relay so that even if the switch gets bumped into the on position it doesn't not come on while driving down the road or sitting in the driveway. Same with reverse lights running through Aux 1 and tied in with the reverse relay, under normal circumstances when in reverse the off road lights stay off, and if you have your off road lights on and put it in reverse the off road reverse lights come on)
I just want a second set of eyes to look this over and make sure I'm not forgetting something. I've never had the room for a cargo storage setup, and I plan on having one in this build. I've still got Aux 3 (40 amps) left with what I've got here, I'm excited to have room to expand, as I was concerned with only having 4 aux switches.
Any input would be great!
Anyone interested in doing the same feel free to discuss as well. I'm just brainstorming here. Ignore most of the amperage/sizing at the moment I'm guessing on a lot of things there as I wait for stuff to show up. I'll clean that up later.
Thanks,
Jeepeto
