In my '23 AEV 392, I would get this message after long climbs [1600' vertical easy low range], even in 61-80F weather. Jeep's respone to my dealer was sic- just stop and wait [like charging a Tesla]. I have a Jeep to get me out not just Way Back In. Anyone else have this problem? I havent found threads in simillar circumstance.

Jeep Wrangler JL Power steering overheating message? IMG_9484

My dealer found a power steering extra reservoir tank we installed in my '24 AEV 392. It's winter here so won't know til the nasty mountain tracks open in June nor July.

Pretty common issue with 392s especially if you have 37 or bigger tires. Hop on over to the 392 forum.

Thanks, I'm an idiot searching for the correct forum - is there a 392 AEV forum? It tells me my search too short -- thanks again and please pardon my ignorance.

Not many of the AEV 392s. So there might be a forum. But not aware of it.

You can just click on the link @stumblinhorse posted above to read what others have said about the issue on the other forum. It will take you right to the ’Power Steering Hot Warning‘ thread that is currently 4 pages long.

There are AEV forums, but not much action there:

https://forum.aev-conversions.com/

Would love to see a picture of the 20 Pista. Nice ride.

I added a fan in front of my PS Pump and have never had a problem since.
