Power box on 4xe

Well I just picked up a 24 Rubicon X and the power box is clearly on my window sticker. I also have a soft case that clearly shows how to put the power box in it.
Of course no one at the dealership has any clue about what even the power box is but I have the GM supposedly looking into it. We shall see.

I just got the 2024 Rubicon X 4xe where the Power Box is listed as standard equipment. The dealership says that it wasn’t delivered with the vehicle. They said they tried to order the part, but that’s not an option and that they contacted the factory and they don’t have them. So basically I was told I have to wait until one of those options is available.

Nice to see that Jeep Cares is willing to help the Rubicon X folks, but continues to ignore the rest of us with 2024s that have been f’ed over by Jeep with regard to the powerbox we never got.

Seriously, @JeepCares, this whole thread is about how Jeep basically lied to us all about the powerbox and has never provided any explanation, apology, or anything of the sort. You see all that, right? Why so shady?

Hi Kaitlin- Thank you for your concern, but the issue has been resolved. Luckily my dealer was kind enough to give me one from one of their stock Jeeps that came in while they are waiting on the one that’s on order.

Not sure if this is helpful but I've noticed almost all of the 2024 window stickers have had the "powerbox delete" listed.

Just went and test drove a newly delivered 2024 Rubicon that had a sticker without that line item near the end, and it indeed had the powerbox in the back with the other goodies. First box I had seen. Looks good - wish it worked on my 2021 LOL!

I just picked up my Rubicon X 4xe and first thing I checked was for the powerbox. Sure enough, the case was there but no powerbox. The dealer had no clue. They said they hadn't ever seen a powerbox on any deliveries and thought it was maybe an option. I showed them a window sticker saying it's standard equipment on Rubicon and Sahara models. They investigated and said they're calling around. Why Jeep didn't just say they're backlogged is beyond me? So there's people who picked up their 4xe that is suppose to have a powerbox and they don't even know they're missing it.

They had another Sahara 4xe that was about to be delivered to a customer. They checked it out, no powerbox either.

I feel so bummed out. One of the only reasons I bought the 4xE was for business purposes that would allow me to run a few external electric devices. I just confirmed that the power box does not work on the Willys. I am really upset and feel deceived by Jeep advertising.

I just emailed Steve Lehto of Lehtos law popular YouTube lawyer in regards to this. I honestly would have not bought this vehicle or at least went for the model with this feature had I been properly informed by Jeep's advertising or their dealer network. This absolutely needs to be rectified by jeep. You advertise a very convenient feature on a vehicle designed for off reading and camping then fail to tell everyone including your dealers that the feature only works on 2 highest of trim models that don't even belong off road.. I'm beyond furious and now hate my jeep.

Rubicon X here. One of the first deliveries back in Aug. Came with the power box. So weird that many don't seem to be getting it.

I’ve been hesitant to mention legal action on the forums with regard to this, as I was hoping to have some kind of amiable resolution. If you end up hearing anything favorable, let us know.

I feel like a victim of fraud to be honest. How do you market something like this then sneak some BS like this past people. I'm seriously bummed out. I would have bought a used gas vehicle and a generator had I know this...This was a HUGE factor of be choosing the 4xE model. And I wasted money buying this before finding out they don't work.

You are not alone. I have the identical boat anchor at home with a nice shiny 2024 Willys 4xe parked beside it that is missing the dual flow module to allow me to use it.

I'm suddenly very glad that I let my spouse talk me up to the Rubicon from the Willys. If we show up and there's not a power box, unless they can prove the bidirection charging is working & we just need to get the box later we'll be refusing delivery because we'd have just bought used...or not bought a 4xe.

I feel sick to my stomach. I have diabetes and high blood pressure. We are the second to the last house on our power grid and our power goes out at least 2 times a year. I also have a cpap machine. I totally thought that the power box delete just meant it didn’t have the power box. I feel like a total idiot. A 2024 Sahara 4xe that is supposed to come with this feature standard. They take $-435 off which I thought that was the price of the power box. Someone needs to make them pay. I did so much research like I always do and this happens. Unbelievable. And to be clear I would not have made the purchase if I knew this before.
