JC and my dealer said I am in D1 for almost a week. I ordered 8/3 and am patiently waiting. ?
I really just want someone to get theirs so I can see real life pictures and get a first hand report. The wait is killing me!!??

Ordered a JLUR (not 392) on 7/22 from Gupton and got a VIN the next day. As of today still gathering parts per Jeep Chat.

I read all 15 pages and didn’t see anything about this already. Has anyone noticed the difference in taillights on the XR vs. non-XR? There seems to be some border around them and they seem to stick out more on the XR. You can see the difference in the configurator and can also see the border in the auto show photos.

Yah you’re right. When you build a Jeep, you can see the taillights change when you select the xr package. Good eye!

I read all 15 pages and didn’t see anything about this already. Has anyone noticed the difference in taillights on the XR vs. non-XR? There seems to be some border around them and they seem to stick out more on the XR. You can see the difference in the configurator and can also see the border in the auto show photos.

I wonder if they are wider so the fender flares don’t mess with the blind spot monitoring.

Weird. They usually won’t escalate u til it’s been like 50-60 days. Shouldn’t be anyone that ordered XR that long in D. But hey, Rock on. It can’t hurt. Well, I guess there could be some early orders hit 50-60 days. I ordered 7/12. That’s 37 days and I didn’t get in early. Anybody that ordered early July, late June is at 50 or close. Hopefully it helps. They have some good Brand Mentors and some not.

Funny thing is I didn’t ask for them to escalate nor did I know they could. She just offered.
They’re probably just sick of me chatting every day. ?

Thanks for posting this. I ordered from Gupton on 7/23 and still in D. Below are my differences compared to yours. If one of our orders moves sooner, this could serve as anecdotal evidence of what's holding things up, given everything else being ~equal:

* Sting gray
* No SOT
* No GG
* No Full Time 4WD Sys
* No Steel Bumper Group
* Add Black 3-piece Hard Top
* Add Mopar Plastic Door Sill Guards
* Add Mopar Cargo Tub Liner
* Add Trail Rail Management System

Oh wow good catch! I wonder if this has anything to do with needing to make the taillights more visible (any DOT regulations?) due to the larger spare?

This was my thought as well. The fenders are wider so the sensors on the lights might need to be pushed out wider to account for the extra width
