Plastic bumper winch mount options.

23 JLU Willys XR 2.0T. Plastic bumper.

I decided to go inexpensive with my winch and mount. I bought an Open Road 10,000lb winch.

Now I need a mount.

I've read plenty of posts on the Rock Hard winch mount - all good.

But I also came across a similar type by Carnivore.

Anyone have any experience with this Carnivore mount? I kinda like how it looks compared to the Rock Hard mount.

My TJ has a Warn winch, and my 46 Willys has a 30 year old Ramsey winch (Ramsey seems to have either given up or no longer caters to the off-road market).

Good Evening,
When I first started out with my 2021 Jeep Wrangler JL 2 Door I also had a budget, with the plastic front bumper I choose the Rough Country 9500K Winch that was on sale and then from Quadratec the Carnivore Winch Plate for Plastic Bumper, I was a little concerned about blocking the airflow but after talking with a local off road shop in Colorado and the Dealership I bought the Jeep from they said I should be OK, I had it installed for 4 years with no issues at all, I have since moved onto a different style of bumper but still have my trusty Rough Country Winch.

I know the haters will come out as they always do…. Because every one has their own opinion on what’s best and worst.
