For what its worth the stock filter is the recommended filter for use with the Magnuson supercharger I have installed and it runs great.

The fact that the two interchange is a plus. I run the kits washable mostly. I carry a paper filter and during a Hammers(extreme dust fest) event dropped one in and tossed it upon leaving. Very convenient.
Just a minor nitpick, but I really wish the JPP/Mopar intake included a bottom and somehow converted the system to a modern tool-less lock-and-latch closure instead of still requiring hand tools to remove the 4 screws securing the top.

Would make regular cleaning a bit quicker/simpler and no chance of losing the screws, especially when you're out and about and need to swap to the paper filter. Plus screwing metal screws into plastic is just kinda jank imo and will eventually cause wear and looseness (same goes for the plastic license plate holders).
