I have tons of Land Rover owners with their obviously superior vehicles. Here's an example.

At least that model of Land Rover pictured here the owner can repair himself and he is not waiting for a rescue! It sorta reminds me of my CJ3 I learned to drive in. Just gotta keep the speed under 45mph.

At veterans' functions it's common to trade jokes, insults, and epithets about services other than your own. E.g. "If you cant get into the military, you might as well join the Air Force."

A very small minority of people are bothered. Everyone else goes for a beer and leaves them to polish their shoes.

Sniping between vehicle brands is common, and frequently done by jeep owners..e.g. "If I wanted a hummer I'd call your sister." "Bronco retrieval unit" etc.
