Parking brake light engaged under heavy load

Anyone else experience the parking brake warning light come on while driving under load?
I put 28 small retaining wall bricks over the rear axle and my warning light came on and it sounded like my brakes were squeaking as if the brake was up.
Weird, now it’s empty and not replicating the issue.

Sounds like the load was enough to get the mechanical parking brake cable to tension up .... tension up just as if you had pulled the parking brake handle up.

Perhaps your parking brake cable is adjusted up to much. Perhaps if you talk to dealership tech, he can loosen the cable some and still have it be in spec.

How much does each retaining wall brick weigh?
