I tried looking up the codes here on the Diesel form and couldn't find an answer.
A week ago, my dashboard said "check electronic throttle system," coolant temp went to cold, and my radiator fan kicked on. Drove it home, parked it, and started back up, and I just got a P0118 code—nothing on the dash about the Electronic throttle system. Driving normally with the engine light on for 30 min, then it says to recheck the electronic throttle system. Reran the report while the car was in limp mode with little throttle response, and I got a U040100 code with the P0118. Is this a common issue where the thermostat goes out, or is it a throttle body issue? Thank you.
