Brit, As I mentioned in your 4XE post, so great to have AAL on this forum!

Absolutely love the entire idea(s) and thoughts covered so succinctly in your video. Looking forward to seeing and being an end user of all the cool products to come out of AAL. Go brother✌🏻

hi and welcome i have you mass spare tire platform works well
i would a rack that works with the SOT but doesn’t rely on the front part of the cowl as the front mounting point Maybe you have mount to the factory rock slider- step because the cowl already utilizes my snorkel and jack mount

Glad to see you guys aboard! My buddies joke that I'm a rolling advertisement for AAL. :) I love how forward-thinking you guys are. Keep the innovative stuff coming.

Great to see ya’ll on the boards! I have built a damn near addiction to your gear - started with a few molle replacements for the door nets, and somehow ended up with full rear seat delete, MASS+ w/ a few drawers and a flip’s slide. Great products and great support - keep it up!

We are working on a roof rack design, but probably not for the SOT. Unfortunately, based on our measurements, the SOT needs about 6" clearance between the top and the bottom of the roof rack. That wouldn't work for most scenarios.

That's exactly what we like to hear. Apparently the "gateway drug" worked. 😉😉😉

Thank you very much for the support! We really appreciate it.

Love the 2 Door build, video content and products 🙏 ✌ 🫡
Thank you very much. We love the 2-door as well. On our last trip out to Black Bear Pass, the 2 door was basically cheating compared to the other vehicles we took. I didn't even put it in 4wd through Cinnamon, Engineer, and Black Bear. Pretty crazy how well it works!

Maybe one day we can step up to a 2-door JL. 😁

We are already working on that one!!! It will be very similar to our JK Overland Shelf. We had a 2-door JL in the shop for measuring a few weeks ago.

Here’s the JK version - https://americanadventurelab.com/product/jeep-jk-2door-overland-shelf/

Here’s the JL that was in the shop for measuring. We did our MASS system in the cargo floor with a couple of Flat Slides.

Looking forward to the new JL 2-door shelf. It was great meeting you, Brit!

Cheers,
Carsten

if you were. to add. down tube that tie the running board/ sliders and matched the out line of the front windshield but goes down to the rock rails. > it would act a bit like an exoskeleton and prove a better mounting point than the cowl.

For us, the problem is not the attachment points for the SOT, it's the gap required to clear the "pleats" as the top rolls back. If those pleats rub the bottom of the rack, it's going to damage the roof fabric quickly. So, we would have to build enough spacing between the roof and the bottom of the rack to clear the pleats.

Great video and message, Brit. I like the approach and transparent intent. Glad to see an American-based company doing well and hope that you continue to grow well into the future as you strive to keep that customer focus and quality products coming. I'll definitely be checking our your gear
