I am interested in purchasing these side rails- however I have read that people are having minor fitment issues that require a small bit of filing on one send to prevent metal squeaking on metal. Has there been any word from the manufacturer on addressing this issue?

It is something we've been made aware of by a few customers and are looking into it. We haven't been able to recreate the squeaking on our JLs, but customers have sent us some photos and videos that are helping us to diagnose the issue. We'll have more info as soon as we know more.

No squeaking on mine but the front driver's bracket is rubbing on the frame corner just a little. Placed a piece of rubber there for now.

Not happy. Placed order on 7/2 was told 7-10 shipping due to truck freight, maybe an extra day for the 4th. Just received notice that they are preparing to ship. Why not just tell the truth and set realistic expectations. I would have considered other options if I knew the truth. BTW, they hit my card on 7/2, knowing they weren’t shipping for 18 days.
