I really like the one-touch power windows in my '23 2-door JL but wonder why it's just one-touch to put the windows DOWN but I have to hold the switch to put the windows UP. Our '10 Liberty is one-touch for both UP and DOWN. Am I missing a setting?

No, you are missing nothing. That is a normal safety feature. IF you are handy and willing to spend a few $ there is a fairly easy way to work around it / to make the windows go up or down with one touch.

One touch down will not pinch fingers. One-touch up could deny people their reaction time to see that objects or fingers are in the way of the rising window. They may press the button then look away instead of watching the window rise. Safer for kids.

That's my interpretation of the oft-quoted safety aspect.

Thanks to you both. Can you point me to the instructions on how to make the switches one-touch both ways?
