I have officially began looking for a rubicon t-case for the 6speed manual. Jlu. Hopefully by the end of the year this will be in so I can wheel more comfortably. This the 2.73:1 has been fine I’m working towards bigger and better.

Good luck in your search. I've been looking for about 3 years now. I came pretty close to getting one a few times but life always seem to get in the way.

How did the sport t-case do on the Rubicon?

Surprisingly it did great. I would 100% run it again with the sport case. I’m just weighing my options. Starting to lean into a atlas t-case

It seems like the Atlas is really the way to go. The chances of finding a Rubi takeoff are pretty slim.

Took me two years. I found several during that time, but they were all either charred from the vehicle being on fire or made out of gold. Only reason I have one is because @SadRobot decided not to go ahead and get the one I have (she had dibs). Hopefully people on the forum can help find you one, unless you go with that atlas.

I found out that part number you had was for. 2023 wrangler. I found a brand new one in San Francisco. Had Benny quote me one but everything’s back ordered. And it’s over 4K with shipping, core charge, and tax. At that rate for 1kish more I can get an atlas and wheel in 2 low lol

Ha yeah looking back I should have taken that one when I had the chance. I guess hindsight is 20/20 or so they say...

Does it still have the $1k core charge? I thought about getting one of the burnt out ones and sending it in, but they wanted around $1k for them so it would have been a wash. After the shipping issue with them that Sad had, I am glad I didn't order one from them.

Yeah larger bulky items isn't exactly in their wheelhouse. I'm actually surprised he would even quote someone on a t-case after what happened the last time they sent one out.

@SadRobot @gek I will run the shipping through my LTL carrier and will ask it to be shipped on a pallet with photos from my carrier I use for work. That is if I go that route instead of the atlas. Just lived the atlas and just about 6k plus shipping and tax

I have seen auto rubi t-cases that low, but not manual ones. Spline count is different. Normal manual t-case prices seem to be 1700-2000. I saw one with a melted case yesterday for 1800.
