Yeah, so getting stuck - it’s funny becuase I bought a snatch strap and learned how to use it knowing getting stuck is part of the game, but still the first time didn’t feel awesome when I initially got stuck. The guys I was with were fantastic about it though.
So one time, it was a traction issue, but I managed to get myself out with 4 Low. The two times I couldn’t get free; once I couldn’t get myself up and over to get out of dunk tank (left of dunk tank to be precise). My spotter was great but it wasn’t happening so he pulled me over. The other time, I was following my spotters Jeep too close and got stuck on a tree trunk stub... lol that was cool. Fortunately, it was on a skid plate or cross member so they did what they’re designed to do.
Just a few minutes earlier, the spotters Jeep got hung up on his rear diff on a tree truck stub. That was scary to me so I yelled but he didn’t seem concerned
Also posting a picture of a map of the park from an app called Maplets (on iPhone, not sure about android) but basically while there, it’ll use GPS to put a dot on the map showing you were you are. Pretty sweet since the trails aren’t well plotted on google maps.
Next meet is October 5 thru 7th - I’ll be going there on the 6th (Saturday)! I can make a post here about to try and get others to go but basically if I can get people together, I’ll stick with the stock stuff. If Sunday the 7th works better for people (chiefly, Shots) I can do that too. Hell, I just might go both days
I was in Backwoods, by the way, when all that excitement happened. The ruts are pretty deep on that trail, but even stock, there’s just a little rubbing the bottom skids plates but it’s all just grass and dirt. Not much risk, just very messy. Other trials are far friendlier in terms of clearance.

I tried, but I can't. I'm working, and the guy I previously mentioned being a member out there works the same shift as me. We can only have 1 guy/gal off per shift and he's already got in for the entire weekend.
