Does anyone know of any legal off roading not too far from Long Island? I know we have some beaches here to ride on but I was looking for something more foresty.

Thanks.

I think down near me in PA are the closest areas? See a lot of NY plates there. Rausch Creek, Anthracite Outdoor, Reading

LI here. There are no legal off road'ing spots that are open to the public in NY. There are some private areas upstate that allow local 4x4 clubs, but they are not open to public. Your closest bet is PA, the areas listed above. MA and VT have some public parks. I dont know of any in CT.

Might have to head to PA. Did some riding there years ago in Reading.

Vermont is full of class IV roads. You can download the maps from the Vermont highway department. Thousands of miles.
