Sup guys,

Anyone seen the two different types of oem LED foglights? When the dealer got me the steel bumpers, they gave me the original bumpers and the front fog lights on the original bumpers look different than the new steel bumper LED’s. Anyone seen this before?

A lot of the aftermarket bumpers say they’ll work with the plastic LEDs but not the Steel LEDs.

That’s what I’m saying. The aftermarket bumpers require different brackets or modification if you have the LEDs from OEM steel instead of plastic.

Interesting. They look the same in terms of size, shape, etc…. The difference is the reflector on the inside of the lights. Ill get a pic tomorrow morning and post it.

Just a data point that might help someone: My 2021 80th Anniversary JL has the optional "LED Headlamp and Foglamp Group" installed in its plastic bumper. While installing a new bumper, I was pleased to find that the fog lights are the 4-tab kind shown in the helpful post above. Someone suggested that the 80th Anniv trim has the Sahara front bumper(?), which is maybe why it has four-tab fogs.

I know what you mean. I’m looking for a set to add to my halogen JL and I see them both ways
