Anyone have a rough estimate of the lumen of stock 2021 gladiator headlights dim and bright.
Trying to get an idea of brightness in my head before buying some aux
Driving and Amber fog lights .

It's not about lumens, it's about lux. The visible light at a given distance. Most light manufacturers won't publish that data because their 2000 lumen product will not measure up where it matters.

Any idea of what Liz a oem head light is.
Looking at a couple of KC lights and they publish lux it looks like

Depends on if you got the LED or the halogen
If you have the LED ones you probably wouldn't have been asking this question and, yes, they are standard on several makes as are halogen and optional on some (not mine)
If your like me with my right hand drive you probably got stuck with the halogen headlights which appear to be the equivalent to about 3 or 4 birthday cake candles (times 2 of course as you do have 2 headlights) I think they are the same lumens as the original Jeeps back in '41
The LED ones you'll see down the road quite a ways and plenty off to the sides too
The halogen ones light up a couple feet in front of the bumper (if its not raining)
Oculus had a deal on the heated led ones and after replacing the headlights on our brand new Jeep which was built in October and paying $600 for something that probably would have cost the factory $0 to put in instead of these ridiculous halogen lights - We now can see at night too !
What a novel concept
You pretty much wouldn't be trying to add more driving lights if you had the led's so you must have the halogen - change the headlights out properly first and then decide if you need more
And don't get cheap on this either, the cheapo bulb only ones flash, blind everyone, and simply dont last or perform nearly the same as good ones

We live in a low area with lots of creeks and rivers . Fall and spring we get dense fog you can’t hardly walk through . Really wanted a set of led cubes with Amber light to help .
Lots offer them and don’t mind spending more money .
really just want to see the deer I’m fixing to hit not spot light a 400 acre field.
looked at the kc c-series , rigid and Baja design. Like I said want to supplement driving lights with led Amber fogs in a driving pattern . Just don’t know what lumen or lux to shop for

OEM halogen is ~510 lux on low and ~590 lux on high (not good)
OEM LED is ~800 lux on low and ~1310 lux on high (very good)

When I was doing my research, the only companies that beat stock, that I saw tested were:
Morimoto Super 7 2.0s ~1460 lux on low and ~1780 lux on high
Truck-lite ~800 lux on low and ~2010 lux on high

I have not seen Oracles tested for lux, but I would love to know what lux their Oculus test at.

Thanks so much! Looked everywhere for that info and came up empty.

This right here is why no car post 2020 should be halogen.

What distance were those lux measurements taken at? 10 meters?

Funny thing about is I believe I see better on dark unlit roads on the dim setting when the fog lights are on. I drive 20 or more miles every morning before sunrise on some backwood country roads. All the brights seem to accomplish is blinding the crap out of you when you pass one of the two street signs I go by. Even more noticeable in the rain or fog.
Gonna add some aux lighting and wanted to get an idea of what the factory lights where rated at before deciding .
Like I said I’m not trying to spot light a deer 400yds up a mountain but it would be nice to see them standing in the road 50yds in front of me.
