Hey so I’ve spent a lot of time researching but I can only find cases of trans leaks on 4xe’s that end up needing new or rather remanufactured transmissions. However I have a 21 jlu 2.0L non e torque with the 8 speed auto. I recently noticed the leak and took it into dealer for warranty work. They said they ordered a new trans pan and gasket and to bring it back in a week. I’m a bit worried as that seems to be the common first step for the 4xe’s with little success. I have an 850re and from my understanding the 4xe 850re’s are manufactured by ZF where as the non 4xe 850re’s are manufactured by stellantis. I just wanted to document this incase someone runs into the same issue. I will keep this updated with the outcome. Would also appreciate if anyone can confirm what I mentioned or provide more information on the 850re’s. Thanks!
