New'ish 8.4 uConnect...

I dumped some money in upgrading my uConnect 7 to a new uConnect 8.4 for the bigger screen and nav but here is my problem. I will be trading my Jeep in once my 2022 ever gets built so my question is....

Do I let the 8.4 go in or put the 7 back in and attempt to sell the 8.4? Not sure the interest of the current 7 owners on upgrading and willing to buy mine.

I have the bevel and radio for both units just need to trade one in and sell the other. What do you think?

Well If you want to get any money out of it, you'd be better off switching it back and selling the head unit. That's a lot of money for just a head unit.

This upgrade used to be 1600 ish. I thought it was pricey then. I'd definitely go back, and try to resell the 8.4. I've got a 7 inch with car play / android auto, I'd prefer the 8.4 but I use AA for nav.

I was surprised it jumped that much as well. I payed the 1600 and would be looking to get maybe 1000 for it. Anyone know of anyone that started with a 7 and wants an 8?

Talk about being greedy...no reason to raise the price $600.
