Any Jeep I’ve owned in the past had Wrangler MTRs from the first set released by Goodyear. Way back, I liked the (then) slightly more aggressive look than the (then) available BFG ATs...

...and Goodyear told us these were AT tires, not really MT tires. I spooned a set on my 1994 Cherokee with a 4” lift and went darn near everywhere - mud, snow, rocks, hardpack - no surface mattered, the tires just handled it all.

So as I started envisioning what I wanted to do with my 2020 Rubi, I figured I’d end up with a new set of Wranglers.

BUT, times have changed, and there are a TON of great options available today. Still, after my research, detailing my plans (and discovering a 20% discount via my company’s partnership with Goodyear), I ended up back here again.

And I couldn’t be happier! Loving the look, loving the size (Jeep is stock here, tires are modestly taller at 275/80/17) and loving the ride so far.

I wanted the “tall skinny” look and this is exactly what I was after.

And dang...these are some aggressive MTRs! I cannot wait to hit the desert again this weeeond.
