New key fob programming.

Does anyone know how to program a new fob? The dealership got the cut done but didn’t have time to program and I’d like to do it myself instead of going back.

Do you have an existing key fob? I've seen software on Amazon that can clone fobs.

I do have an existing one. We only got one when we purchased the Jeep.

Look into the cloning software. I've seen shops near me that clone fobs. Check your local locksmiths.

My locals said their equipment could clone new OEM chips, but not used or aftermarket chips.

Hmmm- then someone else might have a fob for your Jeep. I would have them programmed together differently than your current fob.

Try putting the old chip card in the new fob body. I did that with my Dodge Caravan fob and it worked on both of them. My problem both times was physical with wear on the button contacts inside the fob.
