Traded in my 2019 JLUS for 2020 JLUS yesterday. Both Jeeps have the 2.0 and 8 speed automatic. Ive noticed that the new 20 has a fairly harsh 2-1 downshift, not something that was present in the 19. It still has under 100 miles, so I'm hoping its something that will smooth out, but I'm concerned. Anyone else experience this?

Hi there! We understand why this may raise some concern - we recommend bringing this to the attention of your dealer for further assistance. Of course, our team is always available for support during any dealer service.

I had nearly the same problem with mine (2019 2.0/8 speed) when I drove it home. Mine was shifting very hard between 1/2/3 on both the upshift and downshifts. Only 18 miles when I picked it up, and about 100 miles when I got home from the dealer. On the second day of ownership it wouldn't shift out of park and had to be towed. There was a problem with the valve body in the tranny and they replaced the tranny to correct it. Haven't had a problem since.
