Oh, it wasn't all me. We had a guy working on designing and building the harnesses, another fellow was sourcing the MB E55 paddles and a few of us pioneered the dismantling, installation and re-assembly processes. Then we went to work installing paddles in quite a few vehicles and we put the car owner to work too.NIce job, and looks really clean. Kudos to you for attempting that yourself.
Most of the installs were performed in my garage. We got it down to 3.5 hours per car. We also put together a fairly detailed write up, with pictures and a materials sourcing list which we shared with our fellow LX owners.
It was fun but we had a rule..."No beer until the install is complete!"
I usually finished the day by grilling some burgers and brauts for the crew and car owner, we broke out the beer and we spent a few hours on the back patio harassing each other.
Good times.
