Finally took the plunge today on a 2018 base sport! Been looking since the JL’s came out, but was trying to hold out for a 2019 to avoid the first year. Got pricing on a 19 build at 6% under invoice from a dealer I saw here out of state and planned on ordering after the holidays there since no dealer in my area would even consider the pricing at 6% under. I kept checking lot inventory near me in case a deal popped up. This Jeep had been on the lot for months starting at $32,500 then the last 3 months at 29,500. The other day I look and it’s $26,500 so I message dealer to email me. 5 minutes later it’s back to $29,500. Get an email that it was a typo and has been fixed, then another one saying they would honor it since I had caught it. So I jumped. Base 2018 JL sport with auto, ac, and satellite radio. Would have built it with the anti spin, tinted windows, and max tow, but for the price I think I got a pretty screaming deal and I’m very happy. My kids loved the ride home. Only downside is it’s gonna be a long winter in northeast Ohio before I can strip her down.

Great buy! I’d say you scored. Enjoy the Jeep. I look forward to to seeing what you do to it.

I’ve already got plenty of money spent in my head on mods to do. I was expecting that though. I’ve been a Harley enthusiast forever and gone from a sportster, to heritage softail, to Electra Glide Classic that I’ve had the last 4 years. Bikes going to be finding a new owner in spring with a 3 and 5 year old at home it just doesn’t get ridden enough anymore so Jeep is taking its place. I needed something I could get in the wind, enjoy with the whole family, and tinker/mod on my own to make unique and built how I want it. My kids have already called it dads “giant jungle truck”. Just wait till they see it with a little lift and some bigger tires!
