Went and lurked on another forum yesterday. They had a running 143 page thread on the 3.0 ecodiesel engine failures. Some were internal to the engine itself, and some were exhaust related where the particulate filter clogged and pretty much shut everything down. This forum also mentioned that a new factory was being built and should be up and running in the 2019 model year for production of the ecodiesel.
My questions are (1) Is this going to be a new/different/upgraded engine for the JL, or will it be the same engine in the Ram 1500? (2) Will there be a new or different exhaust system for the JL?
