New bigger wheels

I know this question has been addressed a few ways, but can any of you offer a not too technical answer for a new Jeep owner?
I'm going from stock wheels to 35" with a 2 1/2 lift on my 2019 Wrangler JL automatic 3.6L V6.
Any opinions about a tuning chip (brand), J-scan or other brand to adjust the speedo and shifting?
Is either better than having the mechanic make the adjustment with the install? Thanks for the input!

A lot of us use the Tazer JL lite or mini. It can calibrate for the new tire size along with a few other cool things.

You will need something, and I wouldn't rely on the mechanic to do it for you. There are pros and cons to the different brands. You mentioned Jscan, it's a very good option if you are computer savvy. The other commonly used option is Tazer. That is also a good option. You will have to determine which is best for you and your purposes though.

So sorry! You're right. 35" tires. That would make more sense with the 2 1/2" lift, huh lol

I used the Superchips Flashcal+. The mobile app is nice. It's super easy to use.
