New Axle Break-in

So I know if you regear everyone tells you take it easy for the first 500 miles. No wheeling, vary you speed and do heat cyles by driving 30 minutes and letting it sit for 30 minutes.

How about new axles? Treat them the same? I just installed the UD 60's and have had a couple guys say just drive it. What's the difference?

new UD60's have new gears so you should do the same breakin procedure.
