New 2020 order

This will be my first Wrangler. I have a few friends with JKs. My neighbor as well as several others at my church have JKs as well as my nephew. My wife and I have been waiting for 2020s to see if they bring out any new colors but new color will not start until December or even later is what I have heard. So we proceeded with the order because the color we selected was top choice of the colors available.

Ours will be Ocean Blue Metallic Sahara. With 2.0 turbo. We have already drove a couple. Great fun!!! We went with black hard top, cloth seats, remote keyless entry, LED lights, Cold weather group, Alpine audio system. We will put a 2” (or so) lift under it rolling 35s on 20” wheels. It will be an everyday driver.

Don’t know if any other adds as of now. Not planning to go completely crazy. At least that is the plan

Yeah he is a big boy. 4 inch lift on 40s. Big Bird will be a bit more reasonable. 2 inch lift on 38s lol.

Hey Carlton, so tell me about your new Hellayella JL!!! Beautiful color, BTW. First of all, hows the steering? Any issues at highway speeds and if you hit some pretty big bumps/potholes? Any changes you see from the 2019's? Thanks!!! Did you get the 3.6 V6 or 2.0 turbo? By the way... Congrats!

I am hoping my Ocean Blue JLRU will be here by the end of next week!

Do you know what has changed from the 2019 to 2020s? Ive had my 2019 Rubi for about 6 weeks now, I love everything about it. Only thing is, I have a lot of play in the steering wheel (more than I would like) and my shocks do a lot of popping and cracking. I think that is because I ordered it and its still brand new. Hopefully the cracking will stop.

Received an email today from my salesperson at Meador Jeep in Ft. Worth, TX. My 2020 JLRU is at the train yards in Alliance, TX, which is about 30 miles from the dealership. I should be wrapping my hands around that beautiful steering wheel (that hopefully is tight and centered) this weekend!!
