Morning all! Long time, no post ... but I hope you guys are all doing well and loving your Jeeps :)

Quick question on my 2022, 2-door Willys: I want to upgrade the rear speakers that are in the overhead bar. Something plug and play I can try to do myself. I saw some overhead bar replacements off some Jeep websites, but they didn't come with speakers, and I sure don't know what size, brand, etc. to get anyways.... Does anyone know of a really good (and I mean REALLY good) sounding set of speakers in a plug-n-play, easy to install, overhead soundbar speakers kit???

Much thanks!!

A speaker swap on stock radio power won’t get you results you want. Really good sound stage requires a good fill across frequencies and tuning. There is a plethora of companies out there selling full or partial kits that require running amps, some might have better pre wired connections for easier install. Really all depends on what you call “really good”, but I’ll bet a cold soda that it will require some type of a subwoofer in the end.

You know, you're right. I forgot all about the need for an amp to produce more power. Any website recommendations for these kits??

I can't recommend anything from personal experience as I did all of the install myself piecing together speakers and amps to make it sound good to me. I found that most underwhelming thing I did was the 6x9s in the bar...they didn't really add that low end that I needed (but the HS10 under my seat did).
These guys have a good collection from a bunch of different companies.

I think with my 2-door and lack of space, I'm going to have trouble fitting an amp under the passenger seat :(

Thanks for the link!

There is more space under the seat and amps these days are smaller than you think .
I ended up tucking the HS10 under the air vent as much as I could, which actually gave room for possible rear passenger feet. A decision I was battling with in case I have people back there.

Plenty of kits that stuff an ARB twin compressor under the passenger seat an amp will fit just fine.

Wait .. I'm trying to figure out that second picture. Where is that, and what orientation is it? Is that under the dash up front, or did you have to remove the passenger seat to do the work??

That is behind glovebox between the heater core and fan. I could've extended the wires and ran it to under the dash on the drivers side where the stock amp goes, but couldn't find just the stock amp bracket to attach the amp.

So what exactly is under your passenger seat, and what's under your dash? If you don't mind me asking. I'm just wondering what you've added to your (apparently?) 2-door Jeep.

The load pack interface and the speaker amp are under the dash.
The Kicker HS10 is under the drivers seat, nothing under my passenger (maybe an air compressor at some point).
