Good evening friends!

Two weeks ago, the Jeep died on me (no power, no lights, stuck in drive, dead). I had installed the Genesis dual battery system three weeks prior with no issues until this. I had it towed to the dealership and they said the PCM was “stuck open.” The fuses tested fine and they said the PCM needed replacing. With that replaced, the Jeep ran again. I was wondering if I buggered up the fuse connections during the install and they worked lose.
Fast forward to today, if I pop my hood, the lights on the dual usb ports will not go off (after 12 hours still on). If I do two run cycles on the jeep it will turn off. Additionally, sometimes, randomly, when I open the door, the UConnect screen will come on without pushing the start button. Any ideas what I can do to fix these little gremlins? No error codes 2.0T 22 JLUR with 17k miles.
Thank you in advance!

Undo everything you have done for the dual battery. Either you'll find something out of place which I suspect is under the fuse box or you'll prove the battery install is/isn't your culprit. You'll have to work backwards before moving FWD. Otherwise, you're just guessing.

Look for bent pins, pushed pins, loose fuse block, etc...

This isn’t normal? My 2019 has had both of these happen since I’ve owned it.

Thanks for the reply. The dual usb port is supposed to have power for 60 minutes after powering down, not continuously. And the UConnect screen shouldn’t power on with the door opening.

That’s what I was thinking as well, but with the entire fuse array being replaced, I was hoping that I could eliminate that as an option. But you are probably right and I have to rip everything out.
