I could use some help, I apologize but I've searched and searched but can't find any posts with my exact issues.

Months ago I started my 2022 Willys on a cold morning and my Battery light came on, Voltage was around 10.0 fluctuating +-0.3. I was hoping to drive it and see if the alternator would charge it.

I dropped my daughter off for school after a mile drive and went to put it in Drive and got a message stating Service Transmission and the check engine light was on. The Jeep would not shift to Drive and I had to leave it. The dash flickered and I believe I also got a Traction Control light.

I bought a new battery (AGM H7) and installed it while also pulling Fuse 42 and removing the aux battery negative cable. The Jeep started and did drive normal except the voltage was 11.5 +-0.2 and after driving for 15 mins it dropped to 10.6.

Due to a family issue and work I had no free time until recently so got a new battery just in case the previous one was bad and it read 12.7 V, hooked it up and was reading 12.2 on my dash, started and was idling at 12.0 on the dash.

There were 2 codes:
P2243 (02 Sensor Reference voltage Circuit/open Bank 1 Sensor)
P0562 (system voltage low)

I've checked the Z case fuse array and it tested fine. Checked my other fuses and they are seated. Checked for a parasitic drain and didn't find one from what I can tell. Re-set the IBS, checked for signs of rodents, wires seem to be fine although I admit I don't really know what all to check.

Any advice would be appreciated!!

Thanks! What I was thinking as well but wanted to make sure there wasn't something I was missing.

Back probe the black wire on the alternator plug using a volt meter. If it has any voltage, the PCM is calling for amperage. If your alternator isn't providing, it's the alternator.

I checked and it's calling for amperage.
Thank you!

I'm just going by memory, and now I'm questioning if I told you the right wire. There's only two. What color is the other wire? You might try probing that as well just to double-check my memory.

I tested the positive post (thick black wire). There was a black plastic cover on the post.

The wires I'm saying to probe are not the main, thick-gauge wire on the big post. I'm referring to two small wires going into the connector on the side of the alternator. Just making sure we're on the same page ...

Ok, the other wire that clips on, actually it appears there is only one wire on this clip, not two.

Hm, yours is different than mine then. I'm assuming that is the voltage request wire from the pcm. It should have some kind of voltage on it. If it does, your alternator is bad.

What engine do you have? I can try to look up your diagram ...

Yes, that is your command line. If it has voltage and alternator is still not producing, alternator is bad.

Just a caveat though, I had a bad battery that got so low that the PCM actually went into a protection mode where it wouldn't command voltage from the alternator. Replacing the battery restored the signal on that line for me. I was very close to replacing the alternator before I discovered that. But it sounds like you've already replaced the battery.
