Need help, what's this?

Just installed Hooker Blackheart axel back muffler on a 2.0 and took it for a spin, seemed louder than what I had thought it would be. Got home and saw this black sticky stuff...
Any help would be appreciated.

Kind of a shitty weld there at the end of the pipe connection, like the robot or human kind of got distracted.
