My Steering Lockup Issue: 18 JL

Sitting at the dealership awaiting what the service technician is going to tell me. Having same issue others have experienced, power steering lockup ar highway speeds, especially in colder weather. I'm aware of the TSB on the issue, but hope that is an actual fix, and not a band-aid on a bullet wound. Has anyone who has had the TSB "flash" performed had any issues after the fix? This issue is more than just an inconvenience, it's incredibly dangerous.

I had the TSB done a month ago. The lockup happened intermittently (before tsb was done) but I haven’t experienced it since. Good luck at the dealer.

1500 miles or so after the flash now, and no problems. Mine only did it twice, a split second each time. I’d try to turn right and it wouldn’t go. About the time it would register what was happening, you’d zip right because you were putting extra pressure on the wheel when it released.

Mine started once it got cold outside (under 30 degrees) and I had the TSB done and it still does it.
