Up front, i am clueless in this department and don't have wiring diagram to dive into it. Saw video of someone diagnosing sensor issues and decided to poke around manual transmission sensor due to ongoing glitches.
This is a plug to gear position sensor, it has 3 ports.
With battery negative terminal disconnected, connector sprayed with electronic cleaner, i used multimeter to check the resistance in the wire plug.
Will reference to ports from point of view as Left, Middle, Right.
L + M = 7.8 ohm
L + R = 5.6
M + R = 2.2
M + L = 7.8
Checked sensor side, all OL.
Does reading indicate there is a short in wire plug?
Out of curiosity checked crank position sensor wire plug in the same order:
1.3
147.8
1.5
1.3
And fuel line sensor wire plug, but forgot to write down numbers. There was some reading, and no OL
For those of you who are fluent in these matters, do you see any red flags? Should i redo measuring in some other way?
