Congratulations on the move. It sounds like the beginning of a great adventure.

We'll practically be neighbors. I'm just 45 miles north on I-15. PM me if you want. I know a few interesting local trails. Hog Canyon by Kanab; Barracks trail between Mt. Carmel Junction and Corral Pink sand dunes; Poverty Flats trail east of Zion's National Park, etc.

Congratulations!! We moved to St George just about a year ago now. We LOVE it and are our wheels all of the time. It's so beautiful here and we ave been really happy with our decision.

Yes, I'm in Cedar. I've been to Old Irontown several times over the years. I did some exploring out there one winter day with lots of snow on the ground.

Made it to Utah. It's definitely hot, but it's way better than Texas with the humidity. Drove straight through 18 hours. Made it around 1am Saturday.

We are moving to Utah as well. We sold our house, bought a used 5th wheel and are traveling the US before we look for land out there. How are you liking it so far?

We will have been here 4 years this October and I love it. The Mrs. misses the green of the NC Blue Ridge Mountains but you can easily get your green fix by heading to northern UT or up to places like Duck Creek. Good luck finding land depending on where you go. Here in southern UT you will need to be out in the sticks to get any significant amount of land. Your looking at $200k for just under half acre lots in the new Toquerville subdivision.
I live in Old Iron Town and you can pick up .5 acres for around $55k which IMO is still ridiculous.

I love Southern Utah. Not a fan of the heat, but I know that will subside soon enough.
