more posts per page setting?

is there a setting i can't find to get more than 15 posts per page, or 25 threads per page when searching for new posts?

I apologize for bumping an old thread but, I have this concern as well and decided to search first. Do we have an option for displaying more posts per page? Do we have an option for that? I have searched everywhere through settings/preferences and can't find anything. Cheers
