Admins, can we require locations on sale posts???

Just like the title states, it is pretty straight forward. The location, it can simply be the state, but being newer to the site and trying to find parts for sale is a pain in the butt without a location. Just a thought...........

next thing you know a price is going to be required vs “give me an offer”. Wait, that’s in the sales rules too.

There's a lot of people that share your pain, for sure.

The forum isn't written in that format; like something like Craigslist. The code would need to change for that section to include required fields and blocks. I wish people would just follow the rules, but what can you do? I usually just follow up with asking for a price or location from the OP.

One problem I have is I am looking for wheels in Kentucky. However most people put the abbreviation for the state and "KY" is too short of a term to search for.

When I was looking for parts, I did a watch on the sections I cared about for new threads. It worked well and I now have my Rubi wheels and suspension on my sport.
