Mopar Brake Controller 2018 JL Jeep

Jeep JL Rubicon 2-door 2018. With a Tazer mini and a factory tow package, I was able to integrate the Mopar trailer brake controller. I substituted the factory cable for the Tekonsha 3073-P Brake Control Wiring Adapter - (it uses a capacitor to smooth out the electrical current and prevent check engine light). And that’s about it. I haven’t seen anyone else post about this regarding the 2018 JL and wanted to confirm you can do it!

Came here looking for this as I've found conflicting information about this controller about 2018's and manual transmissions. Glad to see it works with the 2018 - I don't see any reason why it wouldn't also work with a manual. Thanks for posting this!

I called the dealership to locate one in my area. I was able to snag the last one I found an hour away from where I live.
