I tow a CVT trailer with a roof top tent mounted on it behind a 2 Door manual Rubicon. The GVW of the trailer on the title is 1200 pounds. Add in the extras and gear and it's probably close to 2k pounds fully loaded. The setup I have is barely shorter than the Jeep. I have not had any issues...
Came here looking for this as I've found conflicting information about this controller about 2018's and manual transmissions. Glad to see it works with the 2018 - I don't see any reason why it wouldn't also work with a manual. Thanks for posting this!
Where'd you manage to find one? They're...
I was looking for the same option and ended up ordering mine black with black stitching. It might sound boring but that means the logo is basically invisible. Depending on the color you want that might be an option to consider.
Maybe it's time to start a thread dedicated to the Threedom fob specifically? After reading through this thread I was confused when the topic abruptly changed on page 17.
Ordered one this morning at 9am, had a shipment notification email from UPS at 9:30 am. Expected delivery date is tomorrow - granted I'm in Seattle and near a Northridge location but holy cow that was fast!
edit: it did in fact show up the next day and this thing looks great! Well packaged...
Update: Dropped off the 2 door yesterday. Got a call in the afternoon that the TSB states if the previous track bar recall had not been performed previously that needed to be done as part of this fix. Had to wait one more day for that part to show up since the previous owner apparently didn't...
Interestingly enough I received a call from CDJR Seattle today saying a steering gear for me has arrived. I have not actually spoken to JeepCares since my last post.
The service writer said I will be the first repair they do for this TSB. Luckily there’s a lot of great info in this thread on...
I'm also going on 3+ months.
I'm in the Seattle area and took my 2018 2 door in to Seattle CDJR on 10/30/20 and they confirmed the issue and said they were ordering parts (service print out shows parts for special order).
I then heard nothing back so I called on 12/30/20 and was told nothing...
Stew's Self Service in Kirkland has an oil change special rate - half hour of lift time with tools and fluid disposal for $20. I'm not sure what the going rate at the dealer is for an oil change but $20 + materials might be a good deal to skip them next time.
FWIW I just went through buying a 2 door in October and found that the 7-10% off invoice offers discussed at length here are no longer that great due, largely, in part to COVID and how FCA is paying dealers now. This is what the sales person I was talking to said and he's one of the folks here...
Brought mine in for evaluation on 10/30/20 and they said they were ordering parts. Called the service department back today 12/30/20 because I had heard nothing since and they said they still haven't received an order placed two weeks before mine (10/13) and said to call back "in 3 weeks or so...
I didn't snap any while mine was out. There was a great photo in this thread but it looks like the author has deleted his comments and pictures unfortunately.
Yes. I did this in my 2018 2 door and it's the same basic procedure. My seat rails were ever so slightly different than the pictures here (the stamped hole pattern was different) but 99.9% of it was the same.
While the seat was out I too opted to grind down the vertical adjustment stop to buy a...
The seat cushion frame is 68276603AH.
Looks like you can buy it from most Mopar shops online for ~ $160
This listing shows it fits pretty much all JL models: https://www.moparpartssurplus.com/p/jeep__/FRAME-FRONT-SEAT-CUSHION/94851145/68276603AH.html
I brought my (new to me) 2018 2 door Rubicon in to Jeep of Seattle this morning for evaluation because I've found in the 1000 miles I've put on it that it's suffering from this issue. The advisor just called and said he substantiated my concerns by driving it, mentioned there's a TSB to swap the...
