I've been trying to find a set of wheels that I like, and I keep going back to these:

Authentic Mopar Performance Wheel 17" Off-Road - 77072494AB | Mopar Online Parts

I tried searching for a picture of them on a zynith silver jlu to see what they'd look like on my jeep. No luck. So, I thought I'd try using AI to see if Dall-E could generate a picture for me.

They just don't look as good with the zynith silver as I hoped. I guess I'll have to keep looking.

Did a photoshop using the wheels from this photo (LINK) on a Zynith Silver JLUR from RubiTrux. Since the lighting and reflectivity was really different, I lifted the lightness and lowered the color saturation on the wheels to match the photo @R3TRO posted above.

Can't say for sure if that's how it'd look irl, but it might look okay. If anyone's ever tried to match a silver scope and mounts to a stainless rifle, it's oddly difficult to get any of the silvers to match. Just the slightest difference in brightness or cast can make everything look really mismatched.

Great looking wheels otherwise, though!

Like those.

If you're ok with more grey here's an aftermarket option that could work... 17"x8.5". It's a copy/modded JK wheel but not expensive and seems to be durable (I run the black option on my JK). Offset is good too.

Thanks for doing that! Wow! That looks really good!

I may order one from the dealer (checking on the return policy) to see how shiny they really are. The pictures I've seen online vary from very bright, to almost a gun metal grey. But if they look like what you've done here, I think I'll go for these! In the meantime, I might make that picture my new background!

Are you sure you're not AI? ;-)

One thing I was surprised by... The spare tire rubbed on the bumper. Odd because it's now the same tire size that the XR's have. I installed the tailgate reinforcement, but I didn't get the oversized tire bracket as I thought that was just for 37's and larger.

There was a rubber pad on the bumper, in the center, that I removed. That allowed the spare to clear the bumper when I open/close the tailgate, but it exposes some holes on the bumper. I'm not sure what purpose those holes serve other than to be where the fasteners from the rubber pad connect.

Did I screw something up?

I like your wheels. I have a 2022 JLR in the zynith silver, which I really like, and I am debating between black wheels and something like what you have. After seeing yours, I am leaning towards the exact wheel you have plus the 315 BFG KO2s. Do you have a lift on your JLUR?

I would go with gunmetal grey, that will give it some contrast as black is played out.

No lift, other than whatever comes with the 392 Rubicon. Tires are 315 KO2s like you are considering. I’m really pleased with how it looks with Zynith silver.

can you post a photo of the steel bumper with the pad removed? I am looking at a take-off steel bumper but have 35's on stock hinge/carrier.

Not the prettiest modification. It seems like some of the connectors broke off when I pulled it off. They appear to have been

connected to the reflectors inside the bumper. Not sure how to get to those w/o removing the bumper. Anyway, here’s some pics. It was dark out and the bumper is dirty. I gave it a quick wash. I’ll try to get better pics tomorrow in the daylight.
