Mojito Paint Problems!

Well I’ve been in email contact with my dealer and was trying to submit a change request to change the color from Billet Silver to Mojito. Sadly I was informed that they cannot approve the change request because Chrysler stated that they are having issues with the paint already... However will approve the change request to add the DSA option.

Guess I won’t have that nice new Mojito Jeep after all

Yes it’s a bummer we were discussing this in another thread, seems to be some mismatch between the metal and plastic panels after painting Mojito color.

Sucks. But since I’ve already ordered my JLU I’ll have to stick with Billet Silver which was my original choice anyways.

How many years has Jeep been painting cars? Since 1941...I'm not buying "their having trouble with the paint."

Sure glad you spoke up. Thanks for the insightful comment. I guess it must not be true that they are having problems then.You’re right they have been painting Jeeps since 1941 so there could never be any problems with paint since 1941 . they could never run out of paint , they could never have any problems because like you say the paint issue has been ironed out since 41. there’s really no excuse. Thanks. It’s probably just jeep not wanting to sell green Jeeps for some reason you know how they are.
