If you plan on taking the doors off I have found these to be a worthwhile item.

I have these on year round. Helps not chew up the plastic hinge liner.

yep, i have those 2. Also helps if you accidentally hit the tub with the doors; the threads will scratch the paint.

This reminds me...another must have is doors-off mirrors. Plenty of threads on this forum discussing the +/- of the various options. I chose the cheap generic rectangular mirrors that install in the door hinge.

In my opinion, the first mod a new Jeep owner should get, is a winch. Even on a stock Jeep, you potentially may use it if you get into trouble as you're learning trails and your Jeep.
