Just throwing this out there, coming from Southern California in August to do some wheeling in Moab. We will be doing Fins n Things, Poison Spider, Hell’s Revenge, Top of the World, and probably Chicken Corners while we’re there. If anyone has some days off in that timeframe and wants to tag along I’d enjoy some extra company.

Haven’t done Poison Spider or Chicken Corners but I can vouch for the other three. Will be a great trip!

That’s what we’re hoping for! I’ll be in my diesel Gladiator 4.5” lift on 37s, wifey will be in her 24 JLU Willys 3.5” lift on 37s. I figure we should be be able to make most of the trip with ease. Don’t wanna get too crazy as we still have to drive home 520 miles lol

You will do those mentioned trails with ease. With lifts and 37s you can do harder rated trails.

Good to know ??
Just gotta be able to keep my wife upright, she’s had 2 knee replacements and a hip replacement so I’m guessing I’ll be doing all the spotting from now on ?

I would skip chicken corners and do Kane creek instead.

That one is up to the Mrs. It’ll be the last day of the trip and just looking to cruise the scenery. I gave up elephant hill for chicken corners for the wifey. A decision I’m sure I’ll regret later on lol

Maybe Fins and Hell’s before Top of the World and Poison Spider. Get out and help spot her for confidence. There are some blind breakovers that if you don’t have front cam can be nerve racking. Top of the World will require some wheel placement but again your rigs will do fine.

Fins will be first for sure just to get a feel for the terrain out there. The rest will be just a play it by ear type of thing unless other people join that want to do certain trails on certain days. We are pretty open at this point.

Sounds like a fun trip. I want to check off some more Moab trails but won't be out there until probably early-mid September.

If you were going in May I'd be all in as I think my Arizona trip mid May might get cancelled.

Sadly, I think I will miss you by a week or so.
Seems to be the consensus with everyone lol. Unfortunately I have to bid for my vacation time a year in advance by seniority. Once you bid that’s it, no turning back. I’m number 441 of 708, not exactly good by any means. Pretty much, I’m not getting Christmas or Thanksgiving off for another 7-8 years ?

Gonna push this one to the top just in case anyone wants to join us out there. Might have traded chicken corners for onion creek. Either that or we are gonna take off early enough on Friday to be able to play Sand Hollow golf course before heading home. That place has my attention for sure!
