Hi there, Jeep Cherokee owner new to Wranglers. I am planning on getting/ordering a new 23/24 Sahara at the end of this summer, but I don't care for the stock all season tires and want to upgrade to an all terrain with a more aggressive tread. I plan to do minimal off roading (of course I say that now) so it's mostly the styling I am interested in, with the occasional ability to go off road..
Is it possible to go to a 33" to 35" tire w/o changing the wheels or lift/suspension? Can I go slightly wider than stock w/o changing the wheel? That's what I am after: slightly taller, slightly wider, more aggressive AT tread. Don't want mud tires. I am starting to think it's not possible and that I will have to upgrade the wheel to get the tire look I want. (pay once - cry once)
How is the speedometer recalibrated if you change tires/wheels? At what point is this necessary?
If I happen to go for a Rubicon, how easy is it to change out the red interior dash trim with something more "subtle"?
