I had a rattle after lift install. I found the Metalcloak front trackbar jam but was loose along with the steering stabilizer wasn’t tight at all. Got to love shops. Does anyone know the torque for the MC front trackbar. Also if you have the torque for the front Lower and upper control arms and rear trackbar jam nuts that would be helpful too. Thanks!

I did not torque my jam not on the MC trackbar. Just used a crescent wrench with a cheater bar to get it as tight as I can. Its damn near impossible to get thise jam nuts torqued. Also, you should have gine back to the shop. Anytime you have suspension work done you should go back after a few hundred miles to retorque everything. Its common for things to back off or loosen up.

also, metalcloak does not specify a torque value for the jam nut.

I thanks for the reply. That makes sense as I couldn’t find a torque value with the instructions. I’m thinking that the rattle was the steering stabilizer as it had about 3/4” of bolt to tighten before it was even seated against the opening.

I knewabout checking everything even though the shop didn’t mention it but I’ve only driven a few hundred miles so I didn’t think it would have done anything yet but it’s all good.

the shop I took it to was so busy I’ll just get my torque wrench out and go over all of it.

Solid plan. Pick up a paint pen and mark the nuts and bolts. Easier to see if they ever back off or move.
