Just curious, does anyone think that closing the Corona Virus Task Force is premature? Why would they do that?

I don't believe anyone in a position of authority or in the media on this matter simply due to the amount of crap being spoonfed to the public.

Doctors are being forced to literally make COVID-19 the cause of death for anyone who dies while infected with it, regardless of whether or not the virus actually killed them. YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter are censoring medical professionals that question data and have other opinions. We've got governors and political figures telling people to wear masks and stay at home while they go out golfing and other things we're not allowed to do. States that have been shut down are reopening, but not really, as parks and other public spaces are still inaccessible to vehicles to avoid crowding. Corporations are all spitting out the same commercials about how much they care about us when they absolutely do not. We've got one doc that is apparently the end-all-be-all of medical advice who dismisses a cheap drug that works, but has hope and promise in one pushed by big pharma backed by faulty studies.

People die every day of absolutely horrific things. We're exposed to millions of different viruses and bacteria constantly and the world is going apeshit over one of them.

As of this morning, we already did a 180 on this in less than 24 hours - the Task Force will now stay in place. Chaos.

Is the same Task Force that said 2+ million would die? Hogwash. Can't disband soon enough if you ask me.

Hogwash? Did you also believe the "hoax" claim in early March? Still think it's a hoax?

Yes, the claim that 2+ million would die was a hoax to get people to comply. Never said the virus itself was a hoax, but certainly less dangerous than purported.

Sorta agree (except about the compliance motivation), but disbanding the Task Force in the middle of the worst pandemic during our lifetimes is a mistake. How could it possibly be seen as a good thing? That said, there were more self-congratulations than information (case in point: injecting disinfectant) coming from podium - so maybe you're right. I just want to hear from the scientists in any case.

In any case, keep you and your family safe - that's the most important thing.

Likewise, keep safe brother. I just don't like being lied to, even if those liars BELIEVE its for my best interest. Instead, give me FACTUAL information and allow me to make my own decisions for what's safe for me and my family. So yeah, I guess at the end of the day I agree there should be a pandemic team, but not those in the pockets of big pharma like Faucci and anyone willing to lie or discount a clearly effective drug combination because its too generic and cheap that nobody will make any money on it.

And anyone dumb enough to inject Lysol into their bodies or ingest fish tank cleaner is simply self-eliminating from the gene pool. Seriously...

Turns out the story about the lady and her husband that drank fish tank cleaner as a result of them blindly following Trump because they were avid supports was largely bullshit. The wife was not a Trump supporter, but actually donated quite a bit to the Clintons and other leftist organizations, has a history of mental issues and violent altercations, hated her husband, and is now being investigated for murder.

So, again, just more and more lies being fed to us by the media.

I'm with you. Thank goodness for Fox, OAN, and the President's own news conferences; that is where we receive the unvarnished truth.

I'd made the mistake of listening to the Mayo Clinics "scientific" evidence and it momentary had me thinking that we were in trouble. The President set me straight. And...why did it take him so long to muzzle the CDC with their alarmist messages? What we're they thinking - that we needed their medical advice? I get my Covid-19 advice straight from the brainiac. Once you've faced a devastating bones spurs diagnosis, a virus is not going to rattle you.
The president is a stuttering idiot and his administration's ignorance and contempt for logic and rationality doesn't require bogus stories to demonstrate it. There is plenty of public material out there straight from the orange horse's mouth.
