I just swapped out the spring in mine (it came in today). Using my 24" level did the trick for keeping the pedal depressed while doing the swap. That's the correct spring.
BTW, I'm 6' 200lbs and I could not get two hands in the footwell to change out the spring. I have no idea how it can be done with 1 hand unless you use something to hold the clutch down? After couple tries, I called my much more flexible son and he was able to swap it out with ease.
I can feel a difference. The pedal itself feels easier to push and it's smoother at the end of travel on the way back. I think I'm feeling a little more from the clutch now too which is nice. Need to drive it more.
